VR tips
HITMAN 3 VR is in a rough shape but is still at least some fun but there are some things the game doesn't tell you so here are some tips to help your VR experience out.

1. Play seated, the game seems to handle it much better than standing as the game seems to be not room scale compatible as of yet.

2. When using melee weapons make sure to be holding both the grip button and the trigger other wise the attack won't work properly and you'll just nudge them around. The same goes for grabbing the fibre wire.

3. When shooting guns you can hold the trigger to make your shots more accurate, it will even display a laser to aim with.

4. Whenever you can, reset your front facing position by clicking down the left stick

5. Use head tracked movement as the controller tracking is absolutely terrible, this can be set in the VR comfort options found in the settings. As a side note, the game forces controller tracked movement when you sprint.

6. For using the fibre wire make sure to make slow movements to ensure it works, I've tried this out and it seems going too fast breaks the tracking and therefore the whole thing breaks all together.

That is all I can think of for now, if I find out any more I will post them here. Here's to hoping IO are looking at these problems and are actually fixing the PCVR port to be its own thing rather than a poor PSVR port, this game with proper VR could be something totally game changing for the VR market so I hope they don't miss their only shot.

Good tips.
1. Hoping they get roomscale fixed soon. Seated defeats the purpose of VR for me.
5. That may be why some people don't have as many issues with movement. I need hand/controller based because head based makes me motion sick. Controller based gets out of whack very easy when moving in real life and needs recentering. The movement seems to be using the location/direction of the body instead of the head/camera like made for VR games. Back to #1 roomscale fix.

I had a hard time at first but after spending awhile in the VR tutorial I'm having fun now. I do hope roomscale support is added with an update. The hand movements are a bit too rubbery for me also.

Enabling head-based movement direction was critical for letting me move around in a way that made sense. If you play standing and don't use snap turning it should probably be the first thing you change in the options.

I made a guide for the VR mode if anyone needs more tips. There are a few WMR specifics in the guide (I used a Reverb G2) but I hope it's helpful generally:
