VR mode with Gamepass version?

Has anyone succeeded in getting VR to work with the Gamepass version?
The official statement was this : "Whether you play HITMAN 3 on Steam, Epic Games Store or Windows PC (Microsoft Store), including PC Game Pass, HITMAN VR will be available to you on our supported hardware.", but I tried it and VR isn't working with Quest 2 and Oculus link cable.

Have SteamVR open and your headset plugged in, open the game via your monitor (not your headset). Once you're at the main menu you'll see an option to start the game in VR. Turn it on and then put your headset on. Props if you play this game for longer than an hour though, I've never seen a blurrier PCVR game

Not true i have it on gamepass an epic both don't show it using both oculus or steam vr simply does not work

Not sure what you're doing wrong but it does work exactly like the other poster said. I actually start the game from within the desktop view of SteamVR. Once at the game menu screen I can click on the "Turn on VR" option and the game shows up in VR.

Iknow that it does not show for allot of people only a handfull can actually get it to show

It works perfectly with the Gamepass version, also without SteamVR!
You first have to play it without VR to get your setup profile. Then restart the game (with Oculus or SteamVR running already). Then when Hitman is loaded, it will detect VR and you will see the option on the main menu screen.
