Weapons dropped by NPCs just disappearing? Requesting confirm

Is it just me or are weapons dropped by guards just vanishing without a trace? I've been noticing this more lately, I just shoved the two guards at the back of the parking lot of Mendoza through a window and their guns were nowhere to be found.

Can anyone else confirm?

Weapons don't really disappear. But other guards will pick them up and bring them to storage box if they find these weapons lying around. In case you lost a special weapon you want back you'll find it there in case the guards picked it up.

In addition, if even a civilian finds a weapon, that civilian will report the gun to the nearest guard, who then goes and picks up the weapon to take to the nearest weapon crate.

Actually I should have specified, what really happened is that after I pushed the guards they didn't drop their weapons at all, even though one of them was clearly armed with a shotgun in his hands, and yet when I shoved him through the window the shotgun was nowhere to be seen. Same as with the other guard, usually he drops a pistol.

I'm thinking there's something wrong with windows, that somehow makes weapons disappear / not be dropped at all in the first place. Pretty weird

There is a bug where some weapons drop through the floor. I incapacitated both lab guards in Sapienza in the garage, both of their shotguns fell through the floor. I was able to see where they were when I got close and even pick them up, but it does not appear in instinct. I wonder if it was the same shotgun?

Edit: I was able to replicate the bug. I shot the NPC when he was standing in the garage and the shotgun fell through the floor. When I shot him near the door he guards, the shotgun does not fall through the floor.

if that's a screenshot, it looks like it's set to friends only or private, if it was set to public or unlisted, it would show to everyone

Should be public now. I figured the image would appear if I linked it even it was private.

Some locations have the weapons falling through the floor bug. Paris has this the most I noticed.
