Hitman Freelancer has become impossible to beat now ALT F4 was removed.

Sure, its supposed to be hard, its supposed to be taxing but the only way the majority of players get a campaign complete, ESPECIALLY if its a hardcore campaign is by using the force-stop method.

For others wondering, killing the task in task manager also does not work. If you ♥♥♥♥ up, thats it. Thats the end of it. Hours grind-ed gone to ♥♥♥♥. Back to square one.

Personally, I think there should be some save feature that can incorporate the loss of items, even if its just a difficulty tweak. But as it stands rn, I genuinely don't think I can continue playing freelancer because i cant complete a single campaign after MONTHS of playing it.

Ik ik, people will just say "haha get good" but ive tried. Ive really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tried. I have SASO'd the entirety of Hitman 2016, and half of Hitman 2, but this... This is a problem

In the mission you just fail (but your not dead), disconnect your internet connection instead of quitting the game, you will be asked to go to the menu. Then log back in and it will be as if you never entered the mission. And this does not lead to loss of campaign.

I use this in Hard core mode, and even with it it's still very hard

Use Sieker gun and poison the target, then drown them. No problem!
Completed my first hardcore campaign yesterday. Yes it was tough and had to get lucky with the prestige objectives but you can do it.

99% of the time i just shoot them in the head from a distance with the pistol and get out of dodge. When you try to go for silent assassin that's when the mission fails more often than not.

there are 3 ways around it:
Alt-f4 again during the loading screen,
use task manager to end task the game (ctrl-alt-del then task manager, or ctrl-shift-esc for the shortcut to it)
