Is hitman 3 worth it now?
So I only played Hitman 1-2 demos, kinda liked them. Is the game buggy or not ? My main question would be are there enough content? To be honest in the demo the maps seems quite short, altough very entertaining and what is that freelancer mode? Is this something new? Thanks for the infos in advance, planning to buy this game tomorrow on sale just interested in opinions from the community! + PLUS are the dlcs worth it or WOA is enough ?

Yes there is enough content. The trilogy is stuffed with it. Main campaign, escalations, elusive targets, bonus missions, freelancer and more. And the core premise of this is to play this content over and over, gaining mastery to unlock new starts, disguises, stashes, tools and weapons. So even though at first glance WoA has a ton of content, it's actually far more since you play the same stuff repeatedly.

Freelancer is a rouge-like added to the game as an optional mode for veteran players. Not really the sort of thing I'd advise for players new to the game or series, but once you've mastered the rest it is a fine addition that I personally love. But until you have mastered the rest I wouldn't recommend it.

I don't know, there have been many threads about it. The purchasing options seem to be confusing to many. I believe if you buy now you get the full game, that is the WoA trilogy including Hitman 1 and 2 as DLC?

I bought all three games separately at release and there was a time when we could combine it all which I took advantage of, but those days are over. Now you buy all three games together as World of Assassination.

There are many threads here about this. You should look them over to make a decsion.

yeah the demos are only 1 mission, the entire campaign is very fun to play and even more so when going for challenges or different executions, sure you could just pop em in the head and run away but your playthrough will only be a few hours long which isnt how to play this game
im still on hitman 2's campaign and well over 100 hours, this game is ridiculously fun and once you know secret mechanics it becomes easier and even more fun and freelancer seems to be the icing on top although i will wait til h3 is fully done before starting that

I don't think it is to be honest

Too much grinding and difficulty - the base game and the game itself is fun but when you have to do it an extra 50 times it's not, so then you have to do it 50 times in incredible difficulty and that's very not fun.

The game was worth the play day 1. If you like to re-play maps over and over again - getting better with it - improve each time you play it - well the game is superior. I love it.

It's one of the best games around if you like the genre, tons of content, will be one of the best gaming purchases you ever make. Tons of people have hundreds of hours in the game (x3 if they have been playing since the first season)

As for enough content, Hitman 3 base game had more than enough content without DLC or the sniper challenge maps to be worth it. I believe it now comes with the first two games as well, and freelancer end game content.

If you don't like the genre, or aren't a fan of replaying levels to attempt the different challenges, then it's probably not worth it for you. But if you enjoyed the demos and know what the game is about, then you will probably be very happy picking this up.

Sounds like you've missed the entire point of the game which is to play it over and over in different ways to achieve the same outcome.

No, buying World of Assassination will give you all the three games.
The H2 DLC is only for the extra two locations and two sniper maps added as an expansion for H2.
Buying WoA will give you plenty of content to be busy for a very long time.

The point of hitman games is to replay them with different approaches.

Price is not good. Before it became world of assassins you could buy all games inlcuding all DLC for $20. I guess I'll wait. shrug no worries I got hitman 1 for free on epic, was playing last night haha,.
