What happened to Hitman 1 and 2?
i wanted to play some hitman again.
I own 1 and 2, but they are not available on steam anymore?
Why is that.

Hitman 2 had the option to play an upgraded version of the hitman 1 missions if you own both.

Does this game contain the missions from hitman 1 and 2, or is it all new content?
And why is there a standart edition listed in the comparison matrix, if all i can buy is Part 1 for 30 or Deluxe for 99?

no? i have 2 full games, im pretty sure of that.
Previously, Hitman 3 had the same ability to play the missions from Hitman 1 and 2 inside of it. You could buy this as a separate DLC or, if you already owned 1 and 2, you could get the DLC for free.

Hitman 3 was rebranded as Hitman World of Assassination and, as part of the rebrand, the DLC that lets you play Hitman 1 and 2 missions inside of Hitman 3 was rolled into the standard edition of the game at no additional cost. At the same time, H1 and H2 were delisted from the store to bring the entire trilogy under one title that would be the only title new players would need.

Well, H2 is missing all the stuff from this game, including 7 missions and freelancer mode. Hitman WoA is the definitive way of playing the game right now. But it is obviously up to you.

He's referring to additional content like playing Hitman WOA's freelancer with HItman 2 maps. You're fine to play Hitman 2.

I surely does, yet this one provides you with all available content for the game. H2 is only 2/3 of it. But like I said in no way, shape or form you must buy WoA right now.

Not really. It's $15 for one mission and then lots more in DLC to buy all the other missions, or you could pay $50 for 1/3 of the missions, or $150 for all of them. It's ridiculous that they get away with advertising this as a $15 game when you only get a small fraction of it for that price.

They have made it so deliberately confusing that they've made a "how to buy" chart the main picture that comes up when you visit the store page, and even then there's daily threads of people asking what they get when they buy the game.
Another one who is unable to read and understand a completely ordinary and detailed description.
