Edit: The maps are also huge and diverse. Use your instinct to look for things that can help you out like pipes on the sides of buildings to help you climb up to the next level or props like vacuums, radios, tvs etc that can grab a guards attention and peel them away from others for a stealthy knockout.
Also, I played this on master, things are slightly different if on professional, the IAGO invitation is in a bathroom to the right of the main entrance, it gets you past the first couple of check points to reach the upper levels.

Any NPC with a filled in dot above the head are considered an enforcer of your current disguise, and will see you un;ess you are hidden, including blending into the crowd (circle that shows while blending in is how close the npc has to be to see you)
