Also, I really feel like the additional missions IOI added to Sapienza were also some of the better ones, Landslide/The Author/The Icon/The Enforcer. Not saying I didn't like all the other maps and missions, for me there isn't a bad one in the entire trilogy, but each of the missions in Sapienza were highlights for me.
But like I said, its not an easy question to answer because maps like Hokkaido, Santa Fortuna, Isle of Sgail, New York, Haven Island, Dartmoor, Chongqing, and Mendoza are all very high on my list as well.
Most underrated/under utilised map, Ambrose Island, not a single escalation, I don't recall ever getting an elusive target there, and I rarely ever seem to get it even in freelancer. I guess nobody from IOI reads posts here anymore, but if anyone does, surely Ambrose Island deserves a bit more love with at least one escalation, and one elusive target??? Even other DLC maps like New York and Haven Island had escalations.
But beyond those things, the location is timeless, the mission stories are fun and varied and the targets disagreeable.
