Why? Because it is GPU related. Why? Because it runs with the intel chip as the graphics card.
There is no need for the often recommended DDU software, because you can use the built-in clean install option of the nvidia installer. It's fast, it's easy to use like a regular update, and it works for most GPU issues that aren't hardware-related or third-party-related.
Use the custom (advanced) option insteasd of the express option.
At the bottom of the window, select the “Perform a clean installation” checkbox and start installing.
It also doesn't matter whether 200 other games work for you or not. They simply don't address the respective areas of the driver.
Since Battlefield 3, I have only used this option for every update. (As recommended by Nvidia in their own blog, by the way - different from the installer itself)
It was necessary back then because the PC crashed every time I got close to a high-rise building. Since then, there have been no more problems with the GPU - regardless of which OS, game or GPU updates there were. That was 12-13 years ago.
For example, OS upgrades or larger updates can shift "contact points" so to speak and this may go unnoticed. In this way, an older OS update, such as the service pack for Win7 or the change from 7 to 10/11, can also have caused such a unnoticed problem. If all the games still work, you don't notice it and then wonder.
A normal GPU update simply updates the existing files. A clean install, on the other hand, ensures that everything is in the right place.
btw: If you have modified profiles for games, remember to export and import them.
