Am I Eliminating Valliant's Clones Too Quickly?

I have been replaying the splitter mission quite a lot recently, and so in my latest attempt, I managed to eliminate 10 of the clones before Valliant and Pritchard reached the break room (the room where 47 can challenge a clone).

FYI, I eliminated 1 from the gym, dropped the splitting 1 into fire, boiled 6 from the data core, killed the dancing 1 and the 1 in the break room.

What happened next was unusual to me because the last 3 clones were also in Valliant's office along with Valliant and Pritchard. When I was standing right outside of the office watching them, one of the clones pointed his gun towards Pritchard and shot him dead, and then suddenly I was compromised and they started hunting me.

I pacified and eliminated clean and tidy, I did not get spotted, and no bodies was found, so I was so confused when they just started shooting at me. My best guess is that I probably eliminated the clones way too quickly?

yes, if valliant won't see his clone on training during walk with pritchard (in order of visit) he gets mad and orders to kill the member board; still, you can delay them with placing weapons and emetics;

Oh I see, it turns out Valliant does notice his clones disappearing and I didn't think about it lol.
