Still can't play Hitman III ever since the World of Assassination update
Hello! I have been playing hitman since last year and absolutely love the game. I was able to fully play Hitman 3 without issues, too, the whole game.

However, since the January update to the game, now calling it Hitman WOA, everytime I try to open the game it doesn't! I open through steam, I get to the launcher, click "Play" and then I wait... until I see it's not opening, with steam's play button going back to where it began.

I'm not sure if there's something I have to do, or if I should try asking for IOI's support. I thought I'd ask here first, just in case it's an easy known issue.
I tried redownloading the game, which didn't work. I also already asked for help in the past and got a few replies, but none of them fixed the issue. I'd really appreciate some help!

Hard to troubleshoot without much seeing the data-log but could be worthwhile to send a request to iOi support:

It appears something block the game to launch, maybe a conflict with virus protection, or a Win system patch, or another background running application.

I would also verify integrity of game files in STEAM if you haven't done already. Also clear STEAM cache and log-off restart your PC and log-in back to STEAM.

I've tried verifying the files, clearing cache and restarting, which didn't work. I may try checking the virus protection! If that doesn't work I may have to send a request to support

There wasn't anything with the antivirus as far as I could see, so I'm going to try this. Thanks for the links!

No worries, hope they can figure it out.
Also might be useful to have the error logs, good luck.
