How to get Hitman 2 Gold Maps in Hitman 3?

I have Hitman 2 Gold on steam, why can I not access those 2 extra maps(new york and haven island) in Hitman 3?

I got them transferred just fine for free when I bought Hitman 3 some time ago. You are probably just years late to the party. Like a drunk tourist stumbling into the dinner buffet at 3 a.m. getting angry that the salmon is "already" empty.

Huh? IOI clearly said you could transfer all the content you owned to H3 and now it's not the case.

Also, DLC aren't salmons mate. You can run out of salmon but you cannot run out of a peice of digital content.

Your example is even more stupid because they're still selling the H2 expansion pass for H3.

This is like saying I paid for my salmon and they still have 'em and selling them to other customers but are refusing to give them to me in which case, it's absolutely right to be angry

I would not have been mad if they had given fair warning before turning location import off

I thought IOI went clean. good to hear their business practises are still just as scummy. Shame that the games are so good tho

As of January 26th, 2023 - content can only be purchased and not redeemed into HITMAN 3/ WoA.

Total War Warhammer has the same philosophy of including previous game content in future games and the third game recognizing the DLC I own for the first two games just fine. I highly doubt this is a feature they have to pay Steam extra for.

It's sold and packaged differently now.

Publishers & developers are not required to give you remastered/reinterpreted maps for free for previous owners. It's definitely nice when they do, but there's no requirement. They decided to go the "everyone pays the same" route when they delisted H1 & H2.
