So is Freelancer free or is it a paid mode?
On Google everyone says that the Freelancer gamemode is free but when I check the store, some of the game versions has a tag saying " does not include Freelancer mode".

Freelancer was a free update for the game, but it does require a certain package to play it. Sapienza and Part One do not include Freelancer.

Only Standard package contain freelancer.
Deluxe package = standard package + 1 useful DLC + 2 trash DLC
Any other packages (part one, upgrade parts, some map) are chopped of the standard version for clickbait and used to confuse steam tracker.
