Cool, but would I be purchasing the same content twice? I have Hitman 1 and 2 already in my steam library. Is there a Hitman 3 missions add-on or standalone? Seems kind of shady if I have to pay for the same campaigns again
Ok dude thanks. I have decided to just not buy anything the whole thing looks like a spaghetti mess of over-monetisation by the publisher. Congrats to them for losing a sale I guess :D
The closest thing at a lower price than the deluxe edition is this:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1659040/HITMAN_World_of_Assassination/
Purchase third option: HITMAN World of Assassination (not the deluxe given you already played hitman 2 dlc missions I suppose which are new york and haven island). It ends costing you less that buying the deluxe at least.
Also, dunno if maybe you could buy the first option "HITMAN World of Assassination Episode: Sapienza" and then buy this (could be another alternative):
https://store.steampowered.com/sub/1230412/
Even cheaper, but problem is that I don't know if you can upgrade from episode sapienza to this pack. I reckon you maybe can but who knows. This way you are saving more money and not buying hitman 1 maps again.
In any case what space said is true, tbh buying all again is not much different to when you could buy only hitman 3 before. In fact is even cheaper now.
Repeat after me: Do not buy Sapienza Edition.
If you own Hitman 1 there is literally no reason to buy Sapienza Edition. If you want to play H3 levels, buy the Standard Edition (aka Hitman 3).
Edit: Wow, how embarrassing.
I maybe thought you can buy sapienza and then upgrade from there with this:
https://store.steampowered.com/sub/1230412/
That way if you only want hitman 3 you are getting the game at a cheaper price than standard. Problem is, that this upgrade seems to be for part one, but maybe with sapienza edition it could work. (OP doesn't need hitman 1 levels after all).
upgrade to Deluxe + $20.97 = $48.95 to reach deluxe
---
Episode 1 + upgrade = $28.18 to reach standard
upgrade to Deluxe + $20.97 = $49.15 to reach deluxe
---
Standard by itself = $27.99
upgrade to deluxe = $48.96 to reach deluxe
---
Buying deluxe directly = $44.99 (cheapest option for all story content, and yes you would be missing some without deluxe)
(and none of those include the arcade or cosmetic DLC sold separate)
That's not the correct upgrade pack for sapienza
I'm aware but OP already played hitman 1 and 2 (the versions that were before WoA) and only is interested in Hitman 3.
So, to save on costs as much as possible, and get access to WoA, he might be interested in just getting sapienza and then upgrade from here:
https://store.steampowered.com/sub/1230412/
I am not sure but I believe it could work. He won't be getting Hitman 1 levels but those are not relevant to him. He ends getting hitman 2 levels again though, but at least he is getting hitman 3 levels at a cheaper price. That's all.
There's an entirely different upgrade pack, I don't know why you keep replying with the wrong one. There's even a banner on it telling you which one it upgrades from.
The other pack is more expensive, that's why. Yeah, I know sapienza has featured another upgrade pack but considering OP needs, the part 1 upgrade pack could work to get what he wants at a cheaper price.
Also, I stated that I'm not sure it that could work but I reckon it could, you are basically getting same dlcs as the other pack excluding hitman 1 maps (Maps that he doesn't need as he already played those).
Keep in mind I am not like insisting to OP on doing that, I am just providing a possible alternative.
You have no idea what you're talking about and keep suggesting nonsense that doesn't work.
