Your security software may be blocking the game.
Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection.
Click Manage settings under Virus & threat protection settings.
Scroll down to Exclusions → Add or remove exclusions.
Add the entire HITMAN game folder.
If you have third-party antivirus software, disable it temporarily and test.
7. Force DirectX 11 Mode
By default, HITMAN may try launching with DirectX 12, which might not work on some systems.
Open Steam and go to Library.
Right-click HITMAN → Properties.
Under Launch Options, type:
-dx11
Close and try launching again.
8. Reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables

Still Not Working?
If none of these work, try checking the game’s crash logs:
Navigate to %localappdata%\IO Interactive\HITMAN3\
Look for crash logs and error messages.
I tried all of these and none of them worked...
I tried finding the crash logs but I couldn't find the "IO Interactive" folder in %localappdata%.
