That would make sense if this sale would have happened a year after H3 was launched, but it's been 3 years, soon 4 and what I've noticed is that games that are years old, are no longer priced at their initial pricing.
Also, I wouldn't be this cheap, if the publishers wouldn't be this cheap either. I guess I'll just wait, but I do appreciate your response. Thank you.
NO.
As has been explained to you before, they are not standalone games. It's one game which has the content from H (2016), H2, and H3. You cannot buy only H3 any more.
I'm sorry that after two years you still don't understand this.
Firstly, I made that clear in my post.
Second, the only thing you should be sorry about, is not understanding how scummy this is.
I paid a full price for Hitman 1 and 2 including their DLCs.
So at launch, we are talking about $80 for the special edition, maybe more?
For the sake of convenience let's settle that the full game with DLC was $80 at launch and no sale.
Therefore:
Hitman 1 (DLCs edition) = $80
Hitman 2 (DLCs edition) = $80
So now, despite owning and having finished these games, you think it is totally acceptable to price Hitman 3 with the DLCs, 4 years after it's initial launch for over $100?
You'd pay for that? Knowing that the price of Hitman 3 over these 4 years, as with any other game would have already dropped, but they expect you to literally "repurchase" two existing games, so that they can keep the price for Hitman 3 high?
Yes, you're right, you should be sorry if you cannot fathom this. Truly tragic.
Edit: A $100 for somebody who hasn't played Hitman 1-2, this is a good deal, because they will also have the complete version of Hitman 3 and I will admit to that, but it ain't a good deal for me. I hope you can finally see the point being made.
No. You clearly did not, because you still keep showing that you misunderstand what you're purchasing.
Alright dude, whatever you say, but if you learn to read, then just read the post I made.
I appreciate it Kot. 🙂
Then when you select it and hit the product page, it tells you that same product is actually $38 or whatever, and the product that's on sale for $3.89 is "HITMAN World of Assassination Part One" which doesn't include the freelancer mode or VR... there's simply no defending this unless you're a vegetable or a troll.
Except tmftwe is not here to guide, but to criticise and therefore I lack respect towards him.
He deliberately ignores the point of their being 2 games bundled into Hitman 3 now, because they renamed it. And as Ryan stated, you have to be vegetable to not realize this or to even assume that any of this is consumer friendly.
I've been and will continue to be grateful for those who tried to help and I know that tmwtfe is not posting with good intent, but to mock.
You remind me of a Karen who worked at a grocery store, when I was looking for large eggs, but they didn't have any in stock, except small ones.
So I asked this lady if she can check for large eggs in the back to fill the shelf, and she replied, "These are eggs too".
Clearly she knows exactly what I meant, but she ignored it just like you.
