1. (in my case 5 minutes after requesting)
"As requested, we have started the process to delete your HITMAN Profile.
If you login to any HITMAN service from this point onward, a new account will be created for you. This new account will not be associated with the current deletion request."
2. (7 days later)
"Your HITMAN profile has been deleted."
You can start playing after email #1.
btw: As ioi already points out, this request is not intended for regular game progress resets.
So you can't repeat it over and over again. They can say "no".
In my case, for example, I wanted to do it because I had carried over my progress since part 1 and just wanted to start fresh after switching to WoA.
E: Check your spam folder or start the game as a test. You'll notice right at the start whether it's a new profile or not. If not, leave before they think you've changed your mind. The question also arises as to whether this is a completely automated process. If a human is involved, then it's weekend.
I'll keep you updated if I have some news! :)
But since everything that has to do with your selected profile is deleted, it is quite possible that someone will receive an email with a deletion request that they have to confirm before anything else happens.
Ultimately, they can also reject it, which means that it has to be confirmed at least sporadically. (For example, if criteria defined by ioi are not met and the automatic system has detected this.)
A fully automated system would not need up to 30 days to do this, but just a few seconds.
Well, I'll be waiting, we're Monday but I still did not receive the 1st email, so I guess I won't be one the 90% who received it in 5 minutes unfortunately
Thanks for your advice mate.
