Since individual missions only take a few minutes, you really have no need for quick saves, in fact most modes of the game you can't even save mid-mission. In the main storyline you can save whenever you want and quit, not that it even matters there as you can simply restart and you're never more than a few minutes away from completing one
The only thing saves are even useful for is to speed complete a few of the achievements/challenges, once you're done with those you should never need to save again, you just start a new mission or contract and finish it
I don't think I've saved in this game in the last 1000+ hours, you just quit when you're done and your profile is already updated
