the play/options/quit menu just doesnt launch the actual game.

the title really just describes my issue. i'm currently looking thru threads but most of the replies are about, "do you have a high end computer?" "this solution didn't work" and "(insert insult to the original poster)", in which i tried some options but didn't work. i looked through youtube and google and those didn't really match my current scenario. ill keep looking and i only really posted this discussion in hopes someone replies with an answer as i search. also, please be quiet with that "look through many of the other threads you dumb fricking idiot instead of complaining!" bs, cause i'm doing that right now.

What exactly does happen for you? When I hit play, that menu comes up; I press play and then enter and the game launches.

To skip launchers on Steam, follow these steps: 1. Right-click on the game in your Steam library. 2. Select "Properties" from the drop-down menu. 3. In the "General" tab, click on "Set Launch Options." 4. Enter "--launcher-skip" in the text box and click "OK." This will skip any additional launchers associated with the game and start it directly.

I have the same problem, I tried skip launcher and it didn't work. It worked just as without skipping launcher only that I didn't get the menu "play/options/exit"

nothing. i click play, the menu closes, and the game doesn't launch.

I tried this, but it just came with the same results. the play/options/quit menu DOES get skipped, but the game doesn't open up. thanks for the help though.

just go to your file explorer go to (this PC) in the search bar write (IO interactive) and then open the file and delete the file called (HITMAN 3) and you'r game should launch perfectly

I deleted HITMAN3 folder in appdata, skip launcher, reinstalled the game, check file intergrity, run as Admin.

i have the same problem despite the program running just fine on my build earlier. maybe a windows update did it

edit: -skip_launcher fixed it
