i own the first 2 hitman games.
I purchased hitman 3, the cheapest regular version of the game i guess? and i cannot play the main hitman 3 campaign without paying for more DLC? and i can't play hitman 2 campaign either? so what the hell did i purchase? hitman 1? its the only campaign i can access. can someone please explain what the hell this is? it seems like i just need to purchase everything that they sell just to play the game but at this point im not paying $100 to an obviously greedy company. i understand having DLC, but why is the main campaign locked behind a paywall? so whats the point of buying hitman 3? can somebody please explain...

Yeah, you probably bought "Part One". Hence the "Part One". It doesn't include anything other than the remastered H1 stuff in the H3 container.

just had the same problem lol... bought the game and thought, well, that i could play it... but nope, could not start the hitman 3 - campaign.

And the version that was linked up above cannot be found on steam, just on the steam web browser?!

I just checked it, the version is there in the app.
And tbh, I don't even know when they started selling it and why.
The only thing it contains is Hitman 3 (as in: The App itself) aswell as the Hitman 1 maps - something that may seem obvious if you'd download the demo first and see the level names and that they're only included in the more expensive version - but I honestly don't get why they've started selling all of it semi-seperate again after they packaged everything into one singular pack prior - kinda reminds me of Hitman 2 having the different editions like "Standard" or "Silver" except that they this time around atleast tell you what's inside (kind of atleast).
