Hitman 2 had achievements from hitman 1 so I don't know why hitman 3 didn't have it from the previous games. My only guess is that they didn't want to have 200 achievements, but imo i would have enjoyed this, would add tons of more replayability to forcing completionists to go about missions even more thoroughly
Did you know some people actually play games to have fun?
Since you have difficulty understanding my answer, let me try rewording it for you:
Because games are fun, and it's one of the main reasons most people play them.
That said, I wouldn't mind a few more meaningful steam achievements for the game. like "Complete a Freelancer Campaign", "Complete a Hardcore Freelancer Campaign", "Beat all story missions SASO on Master Mode", "Make 100 people slip on a banana", etc.
There's no need for 700 achievements, but having absolutely 0 for the countless challenges is just dumb.
Yes you did. It's literally the title of your post, I even quoted it. Or are you claiming you didn't make this thread with a question for a title?
You're going to pretend you didn't ask this?
The point is to have fun. You don't seem to grasp that, just like you don't seem to understand how asking questions works. You asked, I answered and now you're pretending you didn't.
Yes, you obviously did, wtf?
There are achievemts for reaching mastery lvl 20 on each map. You mainly do this by completing challenges, so, while indirect, there is an achievment for each map regarding challenges.
So why do you want achievments, is there any point in having them?
What is the point in playing a game in the first place?
What is the point in reading a book?
What is the point in watching a movie/video/show?
Are you the person responsible for importing all the new Ubisoft games here?
I am trying to say the opposite. Not achievemnts don't have a point, but everything I stated has a point.
Achievemnts are nice, sure, but I personally don't need an achievment for getting all challenges, or in other games like Zelda BotW (wich doesn't have achievemnts) for getting every Armor to max levl or so.
I would never play a game for the achievment alone, if I wouldn't enjoy the game itself and the time i would put in for it, I would just leave the achievment alone.
Challenges are like in game achievemnents anyway, but OP apperently is not able to understand that
