HDR Issues
Anyone else having a problem where Hitman 3 is washed out and orange tinted when HDR is turned on? I can't figure out a way to fix it. And also I literally mean orange tinted. Like in the Intro menu when you first start the game 47's tie is a dull orange instead of red.

HDR is completely broken. It has never worked.

It has been on IO's known issues since the launch of the game.

I remember it working before. On a side note in the ambrosia island location fire light sources look just wrong. Like they're really dull/washed out.

Don't use the game's HDR setting. Enable HDR in Windows instead, do nothing else. Run the game. Works for me.

Problem only with this game.
And yes, if not use option in game settings - all works fine!

My HDR has been active since HDR was introduced in Windows.
Nowhere, absolutely nowhere, are there any problems with it.
Stop making adjustments in the graphics card and start where you should start. On the hardware and then on the software. (Calibrate the screen correctly, calibrate HDR in Windows and then have fun playing)

Try deactivating AutoHDR, for a test. Sometimes AutoHDR doesn't recognize the HDR mode that is already active in the game. (You'll notice this if you switch to the desktop during the game. Windows will then display a message like "We've improved the look of your game"). The result is a double application, which ends up in a gray, faded color.
(That's a AutoHDR problem, not a HDR problem. It' a newer [w11] feature)

If you have set the brightness (for SDR) and HDR correctly, you don't have to change these settings again in any game. Otherwise, it's simply not calibrated correctly.

Presets and data from the internet are NOT correctly calibrated. Each panel needs its own adjustments. This may not please lazy people, but this is the reality.

The screen has been calibrated. Auto HDR is disabled.
I used "Windows HDR Calibration" from MS Store, maybe there is some program better?
Only this game has problems, but disable HDR in game option- fix it.

I have this issue occasionally if i pause the game... but not very often.

restarting the game has always resolved it for me.

I have windows (!!) HDR enabled, I cant remember my in game settings, I think HDR is enabled there aswell.

This issue happens on my system when i have the Nvidia Overlay Enabled. Disabled it entirely and no longer have the issue.
