Using the same engine as the trilogy, but a more online and co-op gameplay, you create your own assassin and work your way up the agency ranks.
You choose a predetermined codename which is two words (rank and ensign) and Diana or other handlers can speak of it to you or in cutscenes.
For game balance, your skills is lower than that of 47, your animations are a bit slower and you take more damage, but you can specialize in specific gear and abilities to stand out in co-op mode.
You can actually get arrested for screwing up, if you choose to avoid dying which compromises the team mission, and your partner can rescue you from the security rooms.
For instance lv1 Stealth vs Lv3 Stealth will affect the ring size when hiding in bushes.
You can level up in ranks and unlock new outfits which has effects attached to them.
You can unlock gear which has abilities tied to your unlocked skill tree.
You can have item capacity which hinders you in preparation and carrying items ingame (made no sense agent 47 can stuff several hand held items in his pockets).
There are female agents and assassins, which could open up gameplay a bit with hidden npc in plain sight like freelancer assassins and lookouts.
It's not about gender equality or such mind you but the options and extra content we can can add in the game to keep things fresh.
That maid that is mopping the floor seems inconspicuous until it detects you shooting someone and then pulls out a silenced gun at you.
All enemies in the game uses guns, there are no melee or thrown weapon CQC, like someone throwing a knife at you and you gotta use QTE button to evade or take critical damage.
It would be even more dangerous if someone stabs you versus punching you. Especially special forces soldiers that equip a knife as a sidearm.
Would be interesting if we can add in enemy agencies in the game, like the Russian and Chinese ones.
You'd play as an assassin with the Russian agency and your target would be Agent 47.
It would be a different game altogether, but Id like to see it happen. Maybe even a more sandbox game in the vein of freelancer where we could create our own protagonist.
Who knows you could even end up with a whole gang thing going on like in assassins creed brotherhood, sounds like you might be onto something here.
lol!
Many of the folks that 47 targets seem to lack a sense of object permanence. And are face blind.
