Freelancer - Lethal Pills
Is there any way to easily do this challenge? I pretty much never find anyone interacting with food items placed about the levels so getting progress for this is kinda rough.. And as far as I know there is no way to force feed someone food right?

The challenge is to lethally poison ten people with Lethal Pills. It cannot be the other (liquid) vials, have to be pills

My suggestion would be to try and pick Whittleton Creek as much as possible. There are pills in Helen West's basement

It's a crapshot unless you are on a showdown and your mark has the foodie or dehydrated trait, pretty much

Some maps do have opportunities to serve food to NPCs who don't normally eat anything. For example in Hokkaido you can work at the sushi area of the restaurant and offer sushi (that can be poisoned) to NPCs that walk nearby. The juice bar in Berlin is similar. Sadly you're limited to serving people who walk near the area where the stuff is being served but it expands your options a little bit if you get lucky with target locations.

Fair enough cheers for the answers guys.

Poison in freelancer is hit or miss depending on if your target wanders a specific area, dart guns are the only way for that.

On top of that, targets are often immune to poison as well. Emetic, anyway.

He's trying to do the lethal pills challenge. Dart guns won't help with this at all.

If you really want to do this challenge quickly there is only two way.

Wait you are lucky enough to get target eating food/drink, they are rare in every maps, even in maps where there is alot of food/drink poisoning point.

Or more easily when you find a mission one target eating food/drink, kill it with poison pill, wait you get the confermation of progression in the challenge, then alt+f4.

You will repeat the mission keeping your progression.

Considered a players need 300+ hours to complete some the longest challenge i suggest you to play in this way if you want to complete all challenge.

Personally i stopped trying, i not have 300 hours to waste on repeating same targets dozen of times.

Huh I knew about quiting to keep campaign progress intact but didnt know it kept challenge progress gained too thats interesting.
But yeah considering you need to do 100 total campaigns for one of the challenges not exactly worth to rush it asap huh.

I learned this when i tried to do the challenge of the partially bugged "create a meeting".

When i finally find a mission where create a meeting worked i started to repeat the mission.

After 30 attempt where only 5-6 was counted i was really bored.

Developers really have done a big error to make a campaign so long.

Totally wrong for a rogue oriented gamemode, where normally a run is 45 minute/ 1 hour or less when game is learned.

In this way they even ruined alot the replayability of this gamemode.

A player in 4-5 campaign have already seen all the things the gamemode can offer.

I really can't find the motivation to continue to play a campaign for around 2-3 hours, knowing exactly all the targets.

Gotta agree there is no need for some of the challenges to be as grindy as they are. Sat grinding this past couple days and after doing like 10-13 full campaign runs I just cant find the motivation to carry on. Took like 50ish hours to get all weapons on the wall and do all the non grindy challenges of just killing people by the thousands.
Meanwhile Sips has 100+ hours of freelancer gaming on youtube and I am so confused how he still gets enjoyment from it lmao.

So if you kept going after the entire campaign is done and you beat all four syndicates, the missions needed for each showdowns increases indefinitely?

3, 4, 5, 6?

So you've never even finished 1 campaign?

They are the same, it just starts a new one :steamfacepalm:

I not see people streaming or create video, but if he do is because he get money.

Isn't a matter of enjoyment.

He have simple created a group of people like to see him playing freelancer and he get money from this.

Right i was in the same situation, but i even attempted to do the longer one, i stopped to 28/30 not remember anymore the precise numbers.

I started to learn too many target names and i started play maps in automatically way.

Dubai i always go up on the left of the bar to neutralize the guard near the wardrobe, then i go to the security room to get the key to upper floor and the disguise of the guard with red hat, hiding the corpse in the nearby room, where a "handyman" not hear me hide a corpse ad 2-3 mt from him.

In miami i always go down the parking to cut of the light and get the security guard disguise from the guard coming to resolve the problem, then use the internal stair of the parking to reach the upper floor of the big building and get the other guard disguise, attracting one of the guard with an item(banana or suitcacase) hiding the corpse in the crate near here.

And this for every map, i basically play with autopilot without even thinking anymore, knowing exactly what i need to do to get the disguise needed to kill the targets.

This because i already know what the targets was doing only by see them on the map.

All of this because Developers have take the really bad choice to make us play too much missions and too much targets in a single run/campaign.

We see too much contents in a single run, learning too many targets too quickly.

Instead or raising the difficulty, making harder to kill one target, they make it casual and added more easy to kill targets.

Quantity instead quality and make us play this quantity too quickly.

Basically the opposite of what a good rogue like/lite games need to do.
