Bought the Sarajevo Six and now the game installs HP Omen System Optimizer on my system?

Not sure what this is about, but yeah, I bought the DLC earlier and the next time I started the game it installed this HP Omen software under C:\Program Files\HP. Wondering if it accidentally got rolled into patching. Also just can't get on the servers anymore, so possibly related.

I don't know why you have that installed or where it comes from but it doesn't come from Steam or from the patch. Probably something else on your system detected the game and decided you needed that gaming software.

I bought the DLC too and launched the game. No HP stuff like that here.

I guess I'll delete the Hitman install and re-download, see if that helps, nothing has been installed on my system since 8/12 and I'm not seeing any system updates that would have pulled it in. Also I tried running half a dozen other games on Steam and Hitman 3 is the only one that consistently tries to load the Omen software. Super weird.

Figured it out, turned out to be some shenanigans with the MSI launcher for my motherboard that decided to kick in/update at the same time. Not sure why it was only hooking into Hitman, but anyway, thanks for the replies, think I'm good.
