Does a Master mode difficulty mod affect Freelancer?

I got that mod that makes the NPCs more attentive in Master mode. Would this ever affect Freelancer?

I know normal alerted has some of the features of master mode, and hardcore has all the features, so I would guess that hardcore would definitely have it, and normal alerted territories might.

You can check and respond if it does. I am not willing to use it.

I think alerted territories just use master mode, so I would assume yes that this mod would affect it.
