Freelancer mode is too hard
I am frustrated, it is too hard. I do few missions and i die then and all is lost. What is the point. And guns are so expenssive i cant afford silenced gun. Well looks like i am not so good in that game.

Frankly I don’t think it’s that hard besides the money issue, which I solved for myself using cheat engine cuz ain’t no way I’m spending that much time for a few k which I might lose half of if I die once

When I saw that you lose HALF of your merces on failure, I did the same thing because that's just not fair at all and no one can justify it whatsoever

It's an added challenge, there's plenty of videos on tips and tricks you can still use that make it easier to do. It's not always gonna be where you can shoot through everything.

That being said, there's a mod that allows you to make over 100,000 merces each time you interact with the stock market at the vault section of the safehouse (by default its random win/lose kinda thing), among other options (all changes it makes are optional) https://www.nexusmods.com/hitman3/mods/470

I get the frustration. I personally hate the "No-Save" and "You-Quit-You-Lose" system. Often times I didn't quit because the mission was hard, I quit because I have things to do in real life (work, family, etc.)

you can get a free silenced pistol off the assassins on the syndicate maps

also its important to note that 47 actually has quite a bit of health and heals pretty fast. Unless it is said assassin (they one or two shot 47), then 47 can take a few pistol hits, you should only panic if you are getting peppered with a rifle or been under fire for like 3-5 seconds straight.

Try to use lots of cover to heal up if you find yourself in combat and always try to keep an emergency disguise in a safe spot that you can run to and change. If you can get about 3 or 4 seconds of cover 47 should be near full health.

Thing that took a while for me to understand about Freelancer mode is to forget the mindset you have in normal hitman game. You do not need to care about non-target kills, you do not need to care about silent assassin or compromising disguises. Only killing your targets matter. Where previously you were aiming for suit-only silent assasin, now your aim is to hit the secondary objectives.

The fact is that it's not freelancer that's hard, it's trying to accommodate yourself playing a terribly broken game that isn't really developed enough , it's not that it's hard, it's that you're putting in the labor required to even call it a game - you're doing the devs jobs and it's not the same as roleplaying an assassin..

npc's can oneshot you, not a good idea to start combat, just learn ways to cheese every level instead - it's not that great tbh

I beat my first campaign first try from scratch yesterday and only failed the very first mission once. It's really not that hard and i'm glad it's different. What would be the point if it plays the exact same as the rest of the game?

You hate it so much that you have played it 400 hours. A tale as old as time

People shocked to find you have to play a game and actually attempt it before giving an opinion

well i mean, if it was just 50 it would make more sense, since usually when someone hates something they dont like putting time into it, even more for a hobby like gaming

It's really just the game mode that is broken and under-developed.

All locations have three random starting locations at most, suit only (why not purchase some disguises and locations?)
They really did nothing with the economy (only buys equipment but the simpliest tools are the most effective).
Likewise are the objectives just busywork (they don't affect the boss fights).
The boss fights offer by no means lasting replayability (constant wait and see).
Never even mind the cheap OHK assassins and quick escape (artificial difficulty).

The campaigns meanwhile offers a lot variety and prepared / curated targets. Heck, it even has more maps. SASO felt rewarding there.
