The game can be paused, regardless of the mode used. I do not know your RL stuff, maybe you are required to close out the game anytime you leave the computer, or something like that, then that sucks. Just expect like an hour or more of playtime when doing anything that isn't just the story missions, as those are the only things you can save the game on. There is something called the "peacock project" but I can't really offer any advice on it, as I haven't used it.
Sorry I can't offer more help.
I had blown my cover as a pirate, I believe. I don't remember why I couldn't just sling the gun in the right disguise, but that's not important. Sometimes you don't have the option and you just have to work with what you get - like having to keep picking up a bat and throwing it to an exit until you can get away with it. Had to do that too.
And some weapons, like the bat, can't be put in a briefcase once they are taken out.
Could have been a sniper rifle. Those are usually illegal for just about anyone to carry openly.
I don't really remember the situation though, just what I did to get them out.
Thanks for offering help, I also have to flush my dns to connect to online everytime I play Hitman 3, sometimes I have to do it twice. So, I think I'd lose whole campaign if I dc'd on a contract too. It just feels such a waste of time to lose stuff on technical issue.
I like that there is a "Hardcore" mode. I just wish that there was a mode that didn't care if player had to alt-f4 because of real life stuff or connection issues. I don't mind failing cause of death or objective fail like old Elusive Target missions.
Oh well. There's still lots to see in the game.
You win big at the end of every showdown and if you with the full campaign is even bigger.
Sooner players learn to kill, sooner will be possible to finish a full campaign easily.
Killing or kill stealthy is the best way to finish a campaign.
If you have fear of lose money, for now ignore side/prestige quests and simple concentrate yourself to learn how to kill(stealthy or not) and finish the full campaign.
Search way to simple directly kill the targets.
You can even kill the target in front of him run away and get different disguise, if nobody see you changing it(or killed all people see you), you can get away and continue the mission easily.
For showdown is a bit more tricky because syndicate leader escape if you alert a sentinel, so you must play a bit more stealthy, but killing all the witness work here too if you pay attention to not get caught by a sentinel.
After you learn how to do this things, you will simple drown in money, even by simple completing campaign without doing side/prestige quests.
When i stopped playing i was a bit more high of 1,5 million, i haved stopped doing side/prestige quests because i was doing challenge and i have losed various time.
Those soldiers are very rude and refuse to stop shooting you while waiting for the target to answer the phone.
Oh yeah, the exploding phone is really great. You leave it in front of the target and then you run near an exit! Sooooo good.
2 of them were almost identical and did exact same scheme... couldn't determine wich one was the real one...
i decide to kill one... wrong one, result with ending the mission with 0 credits. Even tho i killed the second one (good one), i still got nothing at the end. 0 credit (Munes, or whatever name it use).
That doesn't make senses... even if we kill a bad target, we should be able to get the reward at the end if we kill the good one after.
i dont know if this on all platform, i m on xbox. But the ending is extramly hard to me because three is always 2 NPC that look absolutly identical, doing the exact same stuff (for exemple, reading, drinking, allergy etc.) and...on top of that... thoses both npc are always well hidden, protected, and have the dot on their head (can recognize me).
that's nice as i already from beginning know wich one are my rel targets, but they are always 2 clones... -_-
Only one of them will do exactly the things listed. The other might be missing a tattoo, a hat, or drinking when drinking is not listed.
I believe suspects become enforcers (have the dot on their heads) if you fail one of the previous missions, so they are 'alerted' to you.
and they do have dot on their head even if i succeed the previous missions.
this seems to concern every target, may it be a citizen, race driver, bodyguard etc.. the target always have a dot.
i also noticed for whatever reasons... game seems to randomly make things alots more difficult (as it's not enoutgh already) by adding random assassin or random "watcher" just near me even if i am at a mile away from the target. (theses dudes are on alert mode "dot" and litteraly search for me, going on spot that no others npc are going. they also instantly alarm the target if they catch me (yellow detect))
Yeah, normally I would do that...but how the heck can I attract one of them? They are all super allerted!
I could try sniping all 9 of them, but it's pretty risky. If I don't get the leader and the leader manages to escape...
