Everything else is actually fine and can give you an advantage even. Just need to be patient.
And yes, that Colorado's tower is pain in.... I hate it :)
School in Marrakesh. If I spawn there, I just kill everything in sight. I refuse to even try to be 47 from that spot.
Otherwise, I haven't spawned anywhere problematic except the couple times when some buggy crap was happening. I'm willing to not care about the fringe cases.
Wait for the guard on the left to bugger off, Get on the nearby stack of crates to the next floor up bathroom, EZ.
Every target is going to be a painful slog from this spawn point, It means extra work for no reason. And I hate it. Same way no elite assassin would drop down on a water tower surrounded by red neck hildabilly neo-nazi back woods survivalists. It's just wholly contradictory to the entire essence of agent 47.
... Now... had he actually planned on this, he may just be bored in life and wants to see how idiotic he can make his mission. In that caase, Bravo. Marrakesh for the showdown! But I doubt it, This reeks of bad design.
You need only to take with you a banana or suitcase.
With this every "behind the lines" spawn spot will become a easy way to get a disguise.
In some maps even a really good disguise(like berlin where you get the biker disguise and a quick access to destroy the cameras).
Is basically the only random system working good, because isn't influenced by luck or totally useless.
Some people not think to the advantage to stay so inside the enemy territory with the chance to get great disguise.
Developers really created some occasion to make mission even more casual.
Nothing is wrong with the school itself. If I want that strong outfit I can get it without issues. But let me CHOOSE. From there I have a window to go through and I have to either engage or waste more time than I care to sneaking out in my suit.
Pseudo random spawn points make sense, but not when you spawn in some place that lends the player to question exactly how you managed to get there in your starting outfit without being noticed, and why?
The NY garage is hugely advantageous in the same ways, but kind of silly considering how he would have had to have got in that garage to begin with. Yeah, you can just leave the room without the guards caring and head up the stair case. But that one spawn point also has a ton of other things that take the burdon of disbelief out of the scenario. You can make use of the inconvenience. I can't say the same for the Marrakesh school spawn point.
Anyhow, it's not really a worthy discussion. We can allow people to dislike spawn points without it having to reduce to some petty level of player ridicule.
Its also not like typical "Hitman" either. I would know, considering I have beaten every single game within the entire franchise in Silent Assassin with suit only (Hitman 3 itself pending since Ive only just purchased it), Im willing to bet that every single person here throwing around the words "casual" and "kindergarten" have never done that, so sit down. Yet this game mode encourages you to run in guns blazing most of the time, so forgive me for not being quite used to that. I guess its to cater to the new generation of zoomers these days? Patience isnt the issue here, lmfao..
Yeah I get a similar feeling based on how many people just go right into direct insult. I was a SA/SO player in all the other ones too. It was about the ability to be invisible. I've gone through all of them SA/SO and obviously felt the game was awesome or I wouldn't have done that.
Freelancer is just a bonus to some degree. Not a necessary thing, but there if you want it. It has tons of flaws, sure. To me, it is a challenge to play the game opposite of what I have always done, and I do get a lot out of that. I have already proved to myself I can spend hours on a map creeping around and never changing outfits or being seen. But I never really played it where I have to do something else. So to that end, I like freelancer and have less problems with its flaws as I continue through it.
But of course, we will always find things that boggle the mind and come here to vocalize it. It would just be nice if we could be angry at a game without insulting each other for what seems to always be no reason.
