Hitman 3 - Mouse Cursor has disappeared?

In the menu screen I can move my mouse around and it selects items but there is no cursor showing up as I do this. It's a bit of a blind guess to the selection items on the screen. When I use the overlay - the mouse cursor appears, but in game mode it disappears.

I have tried a number of configuation options with the video settings and re-installed my mouse. This is only happening with Hitman 3 and I'm a bit confused.

Looking for any suggestions on how to fix, or if anyone else has experienced this?

Maybe look at the STEAM controller settings, sometime does conflict with m&k.
I presume you don't have any controller plugged-in nor any other devices that might interfere/conflict (plug them out if you have any).
Turn off any 3rd party overlay (STEAM or nvidia). Also wireless mouse can be at odds at time, test a wired ones if you have.
Check as well your os Control Panel and then Mouse Setting.
