How do you do silent assassin if target is in crowd?

For the freelance mode. No bodies can be found, yet it's impossible to isolate target. I tried the collector poison guns, but I get detected no matter what.

There are real and fake NPCs.

Fake NPCs can't witness illegal actions. Real NPCs show up on the minimap. Check the mini map to see who is real and who is fake.

Example: walk around the crowded parts of Marrakesh and look at your map to see just how few of the people are real.

Melee kill, if its rarity based, can work if you kill with a throw. If nothing else you can stab the guy and run. Have a disguise ready on your escape route. If you don't have a supply of high rarity weapons then you should stick with normal campaign for a little longer.

Collateral accident is even easier if you have a silenced weapon and a spot to shoot safely. Find a propane tank, leave somewhere where your target is in a crowd and you know whats next.

Sillent assassin in this mode is really rng based and the more targets you have the less likely it is to complete.

The only way I've worked out how to deal with this kinda problem is by using an emetic tranq gun or syringe and make them go to a toilet/change location and then hide there body from there

The problem is not all the target go to toilet.

Some choice to go to puke in front of a crowd, making impossible to kill stealth and/or hide the corpse.

A bug or a lack of AI behaviour.

Or in the worse case Developers wanted to appeal casuals players prioritizing casual/cod gameplay.

Probably because you not played or not played much freelancer.

Panic is useless, npc find corpse even when they are in panic.

Crowds in maps like dubai and marrakesh react immediatly to corpse even when in panic.

Dubai is specially a problem because some target refuse to use free bathroom when emetic poisoned and instead go to puke inside dumpster bin in front of people.

Funny thing even a courier knocked down from slipping on a banana is a corpse.

As soon as Mumbai starts, wait for Chasing a Ghost to disappear, and the mini map to appear. Notice there are people around you but nobody is showing up on the mini map. If these were normal NPC's, they'd show up as black dots. However, these here are fake NPCs.

Now pull out your gun, they'll react by cowering and crouching down but they won't look for a guard, and they won't run away, and you won't get caught having your gun out.

Yes, you can kill them and all that, but they are a separate thing from normal black dot and white dot enforcer NPC's. There are plenty of speedruns and strategies that take advantage of this.

There's even a way I think to kill Victor Novikov right at the start of Paris by using this trick. I'm not sure if you shoot him directly or if it's a chandelier or something, been a long time.

You are confusing normal game with Freelancer.

If you play Freelancer you will notice is there are various npc target can't be killed without leave the corpse in a way will be discovered and no tools can't evade this problem.

This is something against what Developers wanted for this gamemode.

distract and isolate body gaurds ( targets walk a route timing is on you) after bodyguards are disabled the target will be much easier to deal with. patience is key and knowing what disguise will give you the most access with least question.also keep in mind other npc routes near target as they can interfere with your plan of execution. good luck

I can't it's hardcore. It's either this, or stuff that are way harder like melee kill, or accident collateral. The target in question is in bangkok, just chilling by the boat area. So I don't see how it's possible.

You can snipe him from here if you toss a coin from cover and knock out the two people chatting in the corner. Positioning and timing is critical but it's possible to knock them both out and drag them into the corner without alerting the hotel staff near them but facing away:

Shooting him with a sniper rifle knocks him into the water and nobody sees it. The only reason I lost SA is because I snapped the girl's next by mistaking instead of pulling out my sniper rifle and I didn't feel like redoing it.

I know you've long since moved on and you only had one chance anyway, but I figured if this was him, then this is the way to do it.

this, i was able to SA a guy in the middle of a crowd with a banana and gas can. The NPCs without a solid white outline are just particle effects and don't spot anything.

I tried poisoning a target in the middle of a crowd, the map goes grey when you are blending in a crowd. It doesn't work, if they disperse they behave like a distraction to real NPCs and they will come to investigate, as well as give away your identity, i think they behave like environmental distractions so the dispersed crowd count as a suspicious area.

I could be doing it wrong, but poisoning a target while blending in a crowd does not work, namely in Mumbai and Dubai.

It would just make the game too easy, to be honest, im kind of glad you cant 'silently inject' a target in the middle of the street.

Edit: I'm gonna see if I can somehow get him into one of the tiny bathrooms.

Edit: i managed to lure him into one of the tiny bathrooms. I will say that you cannot actually do this if you don't have a way to unlock the doors.
