The price of Hitman 3 increased.....

I already have 1 and 2, and I only really use the demo to play them all in 3
But I'm pretty shocked that they increased the price.
World of Assassination already comes with 1 and 2 (which I already own) and Hitman 3 was already $20 during the winter sale, so why is it almost $40 now?

Its multiple items in a bundle, not a singular title. Owning Hitman 1 or 2 doesnt matter anymore. Its a complete title with all of the content. The winter sale was % off the base hitman 3 which isnt available anymore

We understand you having problems understanding what is being offered, they no longer selling Hitman 3.

World of Assassination includes HITMAN 1 and 2 expansion passes, and HITMAN 3, so yes is normal to be more expensive.

You get automatic discount if you own some of the content already in the pack, which decreases the price to it's normal.

Then we have the Digital Deluxe that got a huge discount as well, with 9,99€ for each pack, the seven sins alone used to cost 30€.

So if anything the prices are lower, not higher.

So if you already paid for H1 and H2 in the past, you're now being punished with an extra fee to get H3 instead of a permanent discount on the WOA bundle.

There is no discount for owning Hitman 1 and Hitman 2. The only discount is for the deluxe content bundle; the standard edition does not have a reduced price for partial ownership.

They raised the price for loyal customers who bought the prior games, almost doubling it. That's it.

But they gave existing Hitman 3 owners what we bought so don't expect outrage to go very far.

I already own the past 3 games, so the regular edition of WoA is $20 more than H3 (which is literally the same content)
Even the deluxe pack for Hitman 3 during the sale was $30 which is still less expensive

Just another reason not to support this game or DEVS/PUBS. Limitinting what I can and Can't buy to get more money out of me lol. You cant buy HM3 anymore but you can buy WOA which is HM1-3.

OK cool but I don't want WOA I want to just buy HM3 which I could have done since the game came out al the way till now. Now I am not allowed.

Yep. I've waited ages to buy all Hitman 3 content, buying Hitman 1+2 Deluxe a little while back in preparation, but now it looks like they want to charge more than before and re-charge me for Deluxe content I already own. Not happening—ever. If I were to buy Hitman 3 Deluxe right now as an owner of Hitman 1+2 Deluxe, it's FAR more expensive than before.
I'll take my business elsewhere and encourage others to stay away from this disgusting scam.

They simplified the purchasing and now H3 comes with the previous games. This was announced early on because to play Freelance mode players need to have all the 3 games. So people that needed H3 only could purchase on discount before the Jan 26 change over.
Also they decreased considerably the pice for H3 Deluxe and the Deadly Seven Sins content plus the extras in previous games.
So iOi come out with this approach, small increase for the 3 packaged games and a bigger decrease for the extras.

Nope, the announcement was made when sales were still on.
You can check the forum history about all the threads made on the subjects.

Edit: iOi announcement was made January 3, 2023. STEAM Winter sales ended January 5, 2023.

I'm convinced some people just like complaining. The game was on sale for $20 for almost a month and IOI let everyone know in advance that the price would increase. Everyone had their chance to buy it for cheap.
