This has to be the most confusing game to purchase EVER!

I want to gift the complete Hitman experience for my son. What do I buy for him? Their website says one thing. Steam page says another. Their new youtube video says another thing. And a highly upvoted Steam comment says a fourth totally different thing.

Hitman Trilogy should be Hitman (with DLCs)+ Hitman 2 (With DLCs)+ Hitman 3 (All episodes included).

I suggest you to buy everything via key, cause it's cheaper. I suggest you to check any offers via allkeyshop.com and buy:
Hitman Game of the year edition.
Hitman 2 (scroll down till you see Gold Edition).
Hitman 3

Where as in Europe we pay the full price, while in countries like Turkey/Argentina the same game goes for under 15 euro's... sold directly on steam.

The price in those countries is different because the economic context is also different. Abusing regional pricing hurts consumers from those countries who couldn't buy games without it.

assuming your goal is to get your son every major game in the franchise then you'll want to get him Hitman: codename 47, Hitman 2:silent Assassin,Hitman: Contracts,Hitman: Blood money, Hitman:absolution and Hitman:world of assassination when it comes out later today as it will contain hitman (2016), Hitman 2 (2018) and finally Hitman 3 (2021)
(if your wondering no the recent hitman games aren't remakes of the first three games their basicly 3 parts to a bigger story arc called "the world of assassination") and if your also wondering the 3 more recent games aside the games are generally self contained so if you want you can just buy your son the world of assassination game when it releases later today.

they'll be included in the deluxe pack that'll include the hitman 3 dlc. (don't ask me why the hitman 1 dlc gets into the main package but the hitman 2 dlc got bundled with the hitman 3 dlc)
