WTF is wrong with this game?

On Hitman 1 Marrakesh, i've done everything, hit level 20 mastery, nothing is left to do but the one Sniper assassin, but i cant do it because this stupidly programmed game not giving me the sniper rifle. WTF

you can unlock one by doing the cheveyo calibration escalation in that map

I remember ignoring a few early sniper assassin challenges until i unlocked the sager ghost, which you can unlock in a Marrakesh escalation. Its one of the best rifles, a side from a few new ones in Hitman 3 which you wont need to get for a long time, the sager ghost should prove reliable. The ones you get early on aside from the Bangkok mastery are not worth using they are loud and don't have the best perk combinations.

I think the game was designed to be enjoyed with unlocks you get from other missions to replay in all missions.

Maybe you should look at what unlocks a sniper rifle and not just assume it comes from Marrakesh mastery. You could look in game, or here:

Doesn't seem like you doing everything, Jaeger 7 is one of the first Sniper Rifles you unlock, and is available way before Marrakesh.

You only need Mastery 5 at Paris map, as for the Covert version you get from Sapienza after completing the Sniper Challenge.

NOPE, i did the first missions in Hitman One, i am a completionist. I don't leave a mission until i've completed absolutely everything. And YES, i did use the sniper rifle you speak of in the last mission. So my question, is why the hell don't i have access here now? Also, Everything i read about the Cheveyo Calibration says use a sniper rifle, can't use one if this game is so broken i no longer have the Jaeger 7

1. You do have access to your unlocks in future missions, you just have to pay attention to the size of them and use the correct smuggling locations to bring them in

2. Did you even bother to look at the escalation? No? You're not much of a completionist, you're literally handed one as part of the mission

I just added a screenshot to my profile, it shows on the 1st 3 mission, including Marrakesh i am 20/20 on mastery...i have completed everything, i went back to play the first two missions, i have SMGs, Shotguns, Assault rifles and sniper rifles, but none of that shows up in Marrakesh mission...So how am i supposed to do the Sniper mission?

Either use a briefcase to bring one or a smuggle location (not a stash) that is large enough for it.

And again, for the escalation, it has one in it already as you were already told or would know from simply playing it.

I have done everything, the screen shot shows that, and there is nothing in game or setup that even mentions escalation, and i can't do the escalation in Merrikesh with a sniper rifle, or so it says online,

20/20 master means nothing other than you have a few things unlocked, it's not 100% completion of a location, your screenshot isn't even of a relevant part of the menu. It seems like you have no idea how to use destinations, select missions or equipment.

You pick a location, you pick a mission or escalation (every location has multiple to pick from) and then you pick your equipment during setup, each item has a size and each slot has a size restriction.

Are you just not reading any of this in game?

The Cheveyo Calibration is the last escalation in the list for marrakesh in the destinations menu after the other missions in that location:

As for equipping a sniper for a mission, you've been told repeatedly, either put it in a briefcase or choose a smuggle location that isn't a small stash.

Do you need a basic tutorial for how to use the menu to find things? I don't have a microphone, but seriously, this shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

But you've written entire guides and purchasing directions toward the game.

Kunovega...Thanks for the help man. I found that section i was missing. I did the first two escalations in Marrakesh now. It won't let me do the Cheveyo one unless i upgrade to GOTY edition. Good news i now see more content to do. Bad news, since a completionist, i now have to go all the way back to 1st mission and do all this content i missed. Thank for the help buddy
