Progress from PS5 to PC

The IOI website itself says you can't transfer progress from the PS5 to the PC. Just wanted to make sure that hasn't changed or anything? I had completed Hitman 1 via the Access Pass on my PS5. I'm looking to switch over to the PC and play through the whole series now but do I need to play through Hitman 1 again from scratch?

I guess a follow up to that is: Is there any reason to? Other than that Hitman 1 is enjoyable in and of itself, nothing really "unlocks" from game to game, does it?
