As for buyers, Hitman 3 isn't sold purely as a VR game but a final game in a trilogy that has VR function a poor one at best. But consumers should be smart enough to research before buying anything to begin with.
Also I'm not insulting or berating you, just saying the awards are meaningless come tomorrow the sale will end and the awards along with the links won't be front page. The discussions will no longer cover or mention them as time goes on.
Fair enough. I hope you are right with the award going away eventually as Hitman 3 doesn't deserve a VR award. I played Hitman 1 and 2 (not 3 yet) and they're good games but the developers behind it have made dumb decisions in business and for the game overall, such as forcing to be online all the time for a single-player game and the VR port was half-baked to put it nicely.
I feel really sorry for those that legitimately thought Hitman 3 VR is a good buy because of that award and they only got the game just because of that.
In my opinion, this year's selection of VR games was horrible. I personally voted for Backrooms VR because of the horror aspect of it. It was essentially like voting for the lesser evil. ALL nominations were disappointing.
Let's hope that 2023 will bring us more revolutionary and pioneering VR games. And let's hope that Steam users will choose the nominations more wisely...
Green Heck VR was def worth the vote over a backrooms game, but oh well.
Also, did Bonelab get the support in the SDK for custom levels? Last i tried modding it, the only thing you could do was make characters. I was looking forward to making some levels
Quit being a little shit and just say Hot Dogs, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades dude.
That game is just a sandbox. Talk about boring. I'm so sick of half of VR games being sandbox and the other half being unfinished.
its easier to just have him google 4 characters and read about the game than type hundreds explaining what it is.
And H3 isnt an unfinished sandbox vr game, it came out years ago and is probably one of the most complete games out there, no need to complain and nitpick over it, or compare it to the low tier types of games that come out these days. thats worse than knocking clasic PS2 games for bad graphics lel
