Crashes in Hitman 3?

Anybody have a clue, what is going on and what to do, and if anybody is doing something to correct them?

had crash while loading save and after playing for while and from what i have seen seems like windows 11 might be the problem and nee to downgrade to 10 or the oc causes issues.
i just unistalled the game there no way i go back to windows 10 or remove my oc so now thats up to you

Are your crashes black screens?

Try reinstalling your audio and graphics drivers that seemed to fix it for me. So far. I was also crashing in Payday 2 so maybe not game specific. After the latest nvidia update hopefully that's all it is for you too.

Please help me! What is the problem ? I play the game then on time progam stoped and 2-4second close the game.

@AddOnArmor: No it's not "black screen" crashes, it's just like @Corp described it, game freezes for 2-5 sec. then it just shut down the game, and goes to desktop.

And as I can see the initiating Error is the one from nvlddmkm, so now I will try to reinstall the drivers for my GC, and see if that helps.

One thing I recommend you check: in the NVIDA control panel if you are using "Use the advanced 3D image settings" to enable game overrides, make sure the Anisotropic Filtering setting is using "Application-controlled" under the Manage 3D Settings tab since there is no option to disable AF within the Hitman 3 game Options menu.

i just had like 6 crashes in a row. second to last mission. same part. i throw a bottle at a guard and the game crashes.

I'm getting this too, the game freezes for a few seconds and then just crashes to desktop.

Seems to only happen on Freelancer.

I had problem mostly with Sapienza's map, maybe because that's the biggest one probably.

Consider the fact that this is an Online interaction game (official server functionality and connectivity is paramount, which can cause CTDs in some circumstances that delay video response). You might be surprised by the results playing the same maps/scenarios in offline mode (even alternative servers).

Tried turning off MSI Afterburner and I have now completed multiple missions with no crashes. If you have MSI Afterburner, try exiting and see if you still get crashes.

EDIT: Nevermind, just had a crash. It's only this game that's having the problem, so it's something with this game.

just freezes for a moment and closes. in every game mode. first time i played it crashed after like 4 hours, now crashes every 20 or so minutes for a month now( and on top of that the game can somehow manage only half the FPS of maxed cyberpunk with RT). great game, pathetic and laughable performance and pricing structure. shame
