- no rewards if you finish the game on Master difficulty SASO
- many rewards are items from older games
- less challanges and unlockables
- few story missions
- DLC are Escalations when they were free content in previous games
What did you expect?
I already spent like an hour looking for cigars buried somewhere without even a hint. Feels like a pixel hunting quest rather than Hitman experience.
I'm just exploring for now but at the moment I literally can't see nothing new or interesting or inspired about this map. It's like IO ran out of ideas what to do with the game. I imagine releasing this for free was a calculated move as it'd be crapped on otherwise, and in a big way.
- no banana unlock
- the costume unlock is just a reskin of the old diving suit
problem is they dont undertand how to make levels fun and interesting anymore.
a) ZZzz assassination challenges. most are generic and uninspired. miami probably has more unique assassination challenges than whole hitman 3, if each stage doesnt have a host of fun assassinations they are missing the point. compare to paris miami hokaido sapienza and you ll see how underwhelming assassinations are in H3
b) sandboxes feel very underutilized in general. not many things actually going on compared to the H1+2. chongking and berlin are basically empty, both great sandboxes, imo among the best actually but actualy very little is going on, so wasted opportunity.
only dartmoor and mendoza felt complete levels to me, and dartmoor was such a small level, god help if it wasnt polished.
dubai would have been decent, but it was heavily tutorialized, everything is simple and easy, to help newcomers understand the mechanics.
IO had great rep after first 2 games which had hosts of good content. H3 was just average in comparison. its a decent closure, but it could have been much better, with a little more time and effort.
I still have to complete 2 challenges (6000 points) and I need 4000 XP to get level 19 and then the whole level 20.
I don't know why they didn't add SASO challanges too.
Hitman 3 overall I thought was great despite being the "worst" of the three. I am overall happy if this is roughly the end.
I think it was free because Hitman 3 sold nothing on PC (only 2100 players the first day on Steam) and they are trying to do damage control.
It's small like the Bank while also having less challenges. It should have been 15 mastery
Nobody got scammed. On day one it was obvious 7DS was seven escalations. If you chose to pay for it, that's on you.
