RTX ON-FPS OFF

My 3080 is choking why you do this IO i went from 150fps to 30 at 1440p and i don't even see that much difference in the reflections

That's not what he said either... He said that doing a "reset" of the setting and THEN redoing his preferred settings fixed things for him...

I have a 3080 ti and I'm running 3840x1600 resolution. On average I'm hitting 60 fps or slightly higher using all maxed out settings except I have ray tracing dlss set to Balanced. As long as I can hit 60 I'm happy. If I lower the dlss quality I can get even more FPS but I'm fine as is. Playing on Dartmoor now and getting 80 fps inside the mansion.

yea balance is the sweet spot. quality DLSS is kind of choppy.

Mendoza destroys me though. FPS dropped to 30 in some areas lol.

A lot of people are oblivious, explaining it to them again likely isn't going to help much either. They didn't listen the first time or from other sources, but this time, surely they'll learn. Yea, right.

I played the game at consistent 90 fps but now with the june patch my game runs Like ♥♥♥♥ with and withount rtx

Ehrm what worked for me was changing reflection from high to medium. It saved my FPS. It is real story.

Me too. Even "low" doesn't look that bad, but I'm still playing on medium and it looks incredible.

3080 can barely do 60 FPS in RDR2 in 1440p with RT on. This technology sucks for now. We have to wait a few years until it works properly. Same for Cyberpunk 2077, all ultra in 1440p is 100 FPS, turn on Ray Tracing and it's 50 FPS less, and not that much difference in quality.
