On a 2080Ti I ran 1440p w/ DLSS Quality, max settings w/ RT on, and I could probably play the game with a locked 30fps but I don't hate myself enough to do that. DLSS also seems weirdly not that beneficial to performance, maybe.
I don't think many people will be making this mistake. Resolution scale is obviously a performance-heavy option. RT is just genuinely extremely demanding in this game. It cut my FPS to 1/3~1/4 of normal.
Idk man I'm the wrong person to ask lol I wouldn't expect it though. This is a game with a lot of reflective surfaces. I'd probably just expect to not use it on current GPUs and maybe in the future with new hardware you'll be able to turn it on. Honestly, the default system for reflections does a good enough job
If you can use it though DLSS is good and can maybe help you get higher resolution, maybe even use DL DSR in combination to get 4K down to a 1440p screen or something like that. That's a better IQ improvement at much less performance cost than RT.
also, it's "rt on", "rtx on" is just the nvidia ad
I am afraid I have to correct your correction sir. It actually is "RTX on". RTX stands for Ray Traced Xenophobes which... Well... Everyone who's against Russia is a xenophobe these days. Since this game is shining the ray traced goodliness on many different people of many different countries, this game is indeed ray tracing all the xenophobes.
I hope that clears things up. If it doesn't, I'll be happy to not comment on any further questions.
EDIT; Reinstalled my drivers with DDU to the newest versions. 35FPS average on Darthmoor on highest settings. RTX 2060, 9700k, 32GB, M2 SSD. Pretty much what I expected, thumbs up from me.
DLSS is the best addition. Now I'm playing at DLDSR 4K with balanced DLSS and the game looks better than it ever has.

I don't trust demos like that. It fails to answer simple things such as what rig it was taken on.
