Is the demo version a full version of the game?

The demo has 56GB space, which is a too much for a demo and I assume it is a full game with limited contents.

If I purchase the game later when the demo is already installed, will it eventually turn into full game, from "Hitman 3 Demo" to "Hitman 3"?

Or will Steam actually downloading 56GB or more for paid version since it has different database, which results 100++GB space taken with full and demo data?

the content is the same, but you don't have any unlock licenses besides the demo content

and yes, you shouldn't have to redownload anything, steam will simply move the files to the full version

Well okay. Because this one is a bit different than 1 and 2 because their demo/starter pack is actually a full game; only need to make a purchase to access some or full contents. Only this Hitman 3 has "demo" in the title, which made me curious if it handles differently between demo and full, and also I do not want to redownload everything again if possible while I already have the data on drive.

quick question: i dont have a pc that can run the game, so I use nvidia force now. i wondering if the demo is just launching the full game just without access to most of the content. i would love to know! thanks in advance!

I don't have any experience with nvidia force now. Yes, the demo is the full game and content is locked. If you purchase the game the demo will be converted to the full game so you do not have to re-download it. I think the demo only comes with access to one escalation.
