Game doesn't launch on Game Pass

When opening through the Xbox app, it does nothing. Going into the install folder and opening the game through the .exe launches the game but it crashes at the "press enter to start" screen.

You're replying to a thread I made in January when the game came out and there wasn't a known fix at launch. It's been fixed now though. Besides, Steam forums are likely the best place to go with dedicated pages for each game, something that other platforms such as Xbox PC and EGS lack.

I replied the same day you posted your thread. My comment from today was in response to someone else who bumped the thread today. If you're going to tell me to look at dates, try that yourself and also who I was responding to and why.

The solution is to completely log out of Steam, then rename its native folder (for example, to 'Steam 1'). After that, Steam will stop checking the license of the game and everything will run as it should. Then the folder name can be returned as it was before.
