How does this work? Will it recognize that I have 1 & 2 on here and give me all the stuff?

According to their site:

"This guide and process is specifically intended for HITMAN 2 owners on Steam that want to import their locations into HITMAN 3 on Epic Games Store. Those players should follow the guide as instructed to import their locations

If you want to import locations from HITMAN 2 on Steam to HITMAN 3 on Steam, you do not need to use this process. Instead, locations will be carried over ‘automatically’ based on your Steam entitlements."

I don't understand. If I have Hitman 1 and Hitman 2 on Steam, can I purchase the Hitman 3 Standard edition to play 1 & 2 inside 3, or do I need to buy the 100€ trilogy?

Carryover is not game content, guys. Carryover is just game progress.

I'm also confused about the H1 and H2 content we already paid for.... What's up with that? We need to re purchase it?

If you want to import locations from HITMAN 2 on Steam to HITMAN 3 on Steam, read this: locations will be carried over ‘automatically’ based on your Steam entitlements.

However you'll need to use this link: https://profile.hitman.com/ to carryover your progression from HITMAN 2 to HITMAN 3.

So you need to pay 100€ to play all locations on the game, essentially rebuying the games you already own.

...yeah, per the site linked: "THIS PROCESS DOES NOT IMPORT YOUR HITMAN 2 LOCATIONS. CHECK OUR PLAYER GUIDE FOR MORE DETAILS"

but then the player guide is out of date. the only new info I can see is that Steam does this integration automatically. But again, not sure if this gives us access to maps and stuff too. I am extremely uninterested in re-buying those, especially since 2 gave us all of 1s stuff for free.

Trilogy page says:

The HITMAN Trilogy includes:
- HITMAN 1 Standard Edition (Access Pass)
- HITMAN 2 Standard Edition (Access Pass)
- HITMAN 3 Standard Edition

Which gives the assumption that you need to pay 100€ to import locations even if you own them. That, or the term "Access Pass" is horribly misguiding.
