I will say this w/o ruining DLCs. The way Murayama told his stories over regions/world-building. He built the world as he went, with some slight plan out for future games. He explained he did the same thing here. He would leave area open to explore later one. or character with almost a blank slate to expand upon later
If you ever played Suikoden Series Georg Prime would be an example of this. When you meet him for the first time in S2. you didn't know much about him, other than wanderer of the lands, powerful. You really didnt know where he came from or what he been doing. He does mention lands in the southwest. That's all you know.
When 5 comes out, you have a very detailed rich story. You find out why he roams the lands and what he did even before Suikoden 1
That how Murayama told his world. he did this even with regions and countries, Even for the Sindar. which Get told in greater detail from 2 all the way to 5.
Now I will say Murayama didn't have much effect on S4-5. but you know they had his notes lol.
Also note he did leave enough world-building to R&B to build 2 more sequels to this game
What was the Jester for? trolling?
Know as a backer they gave details on what the side stories would be
ALL DLC will be 40 hours long in total
Seign DLC: going to be about how he save the late emperor's son from aldric clutch before the final battle, since it happened offscreen in the main story and was only told by Goldwyn
Marisa DLC: basically how she met Leene 1st time and befriended her with Nil and Wayve
Markus DLC: The backstory talks about a 'holy maiden' that wrecked his first settlement before Hargatha castle, so prob sth concerning her? Not to mention the dlc includes Carrie and she did mention that someone already made a teleportation mark on Hargatha Castle's menhir. And considering Carrie is light-based.... time/space
4th DLC is just paints and Skins for HQ
Hell, who knows, one day Konami will sell the rights to Suikoden and we'll be able to get the missing plot points of those games.
