The 27 True Runes
Well, Suikoden being abandoned by Konami after 5th game without finishing the lore about The 27 True Runes bearer. Suikoden 6 will never happen, but creator of the series made this game as spiritual successor.

I hope this game had lore about the true rune bearer iike suikoden, and if it is not be named TRUE RUNES just made it similar to it. And had similar runes like Soul-Eater runes in Suikoden.

I will wait this game 2 years from now until it was released in 2023.

Sorry to bring you very bad news but now...this game is a spiritual successors not tie whit any of the suikoden game, cause the liscen belong to Konami and since they been ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on all of their ips they own suikoden is pretty much death.

This however will bring what a lot of suikoden fan was looking for, brand new story whit ton of new characters and possible a new franchinse to play many year to come, cause when the will release this game that will have a core base so they will be to make those game way more quicker.

Beside we getting 2 version of this game a prequel game and the main game.

Eiyuden Chronicles has nothing to do with Suikoden lore wise. It's just that a lot of the same developers are working on Eiyuden that worked on the original Suikoden games, so all lore, including the True Runes are not gonna be a part of this series. However, there are Rune Lenses which appear to be somewhat of a replacement, but probably not in the same way the True Runes existed.

I know most of us miss Suikoden lore, but give Eiyuden a chance to build it's own lore and see how much it appeals to you. For someone who to this day counts Suikoden II as their all time favorite game, it's a weird feeling to think that another game might potentially eclipse it soon. Best to wait and see what the devs come out with in a couple of years.

Suikoden is dead. There will never be answers to Jeanne, the Sindar, the True Runes, never see Fliktor or go to Harmonia. It's a real shame, as a big part of what made Suikoden so special was it's overarching continuity and the shared world throughout the games. A world that became incredibly detailed and developed over time.

Konami threw it all away (big surprise), here's hoping they can start over and do it right this time with a new series. And here's hoping they can recapture that magic Suikoden had.

Blame Konami for that

They won't they only interested in pachiko machine now, also they don't care much about fanbase or anything check their recent game and each of them got destroy by critic.

Aslo most of the dev that work on those game in the past, have all left the company and started their own studio or join other.
