2D is not something you can own. I can believe Octopath made them brave enough to make the game they wanted to make. but everything else you said is stupid.
There's a clear distinction between sharing the same genre and being shamelessly derivative. The fact that you can't tell the difference tells us everything.

Let's be real here little boy, Octopath Traveler is mediocre ass game and Eiyuden Chronicles will be pure old school RPG bliss. If you don't know the Suikoden series, then you're ignorant and naive when it comes to JRPGs and your opinion is invalid.
