Card Game Champ *Question*
Dear community,
Maybe this question has been asked already, yet, can't find any answer.
I finished my first playthroug where i miss Leene character. I defeated all cards players, a total of 126 players (heroes/foes).
Trophy didn't pop up, so i did check all the chars - and I Perrielle is actually missing on the list (which is dead on post game) - weird thing, is that I have Leene (which i missed on this playthroug).
I just ran a NG+ to get my total 120 chars, just beaten Perrielle on card game - Trophy didn't pop.
Does this tophy has to be done before her death and beat all players in all playthroug (i guess she got removed from card game after it 😭) or there is something else i miss ?
The achivements status seems bugged as far i as seen, showing 118/120.

Thanks <3

Yet no achievement... Still showing 118/120. Not sure, but is there anything special to do? Did I miss a character or something? X_X

THanks for the help !
Where are you seeing 118/120? There's more than 120 card champion battles. So that's one flaw. Your image links aren't working for me either.

I would first double and triple check if all the champions in the list have the beaten icon. I would then go to the last row on the list of champions. There should only be 7 champions on the last row. If that's not true, then you're missing something else.

At the end of the day, in your case of having done 17 hours of content for the trophy, I'd just pop open SAM and pop it for myself personally. Steam achievements are useless.

First, PLEASE put major plot points behind spoiler tags. I'm nearing the end game and I did not know that detail you mentioned here. It's bad form to drop major plot spoilers without putting them behind a spoiler tag.

Second, yes, unfortunately the achievements call for everything to be done on one playthrough, so if you missed a couple games, you'll have to do a NG+ and beat everybody again, including the two you missed.
It's an end game trophy, you didn't provide an answer that wasn't already provided, and you couldn't have possibly gotten it yourself yet to give advice on it. Could it have used an extra spoiler tag? Sure, probably. But, it being an end game trophy you can't possibly have could have been a clue that you didn't need to try to help in the topic.

Yes, you have to beat all in 1 playthrough.

It's near the end, yes, but not at the end. The spoiled plot element occurs after the point where you can get this trophy. As I will likely know from firsthand experience, since I'm likely getting this trophy tonight. I'm only a couple matches away and I'm a hop, skip and jump away from recruiting Leene. Regardless, it is still poor form to post major plot points without a spoiler tag of any variety.

The part you're saying you will complete tonight is after the spoiler, so the point is that you haven't reached that far enough to get the trophy yet so you don't have any advice to give. This is an end game achievement. Of course, they are going to talk about end game content.

If I recall there something like 126 card battle characters, not 120.

Yeah, I did check and last row shows 7 champions and you can sort card players by "undefeated" and all defeated. Got a total of 16 rows (including the last one with 7).

I know for some final fantasy games I had to close the game and restart it for some achievements to pop on Steam.

I'm playing on Xbox but I assume the requirements are the same; So am I right in understand that as long as I beat Perrielle at cards at some point in my playthrough, then this achievement is possible even post-credits? Or do I need to ensure to have crowns on all characters before I reach that point in the story? I don't yet know what comes first in the game; Leene recruitment or Perrielle death.

Strong spoiler incoming! If you've recruited all the characters, Perrielle's death is prevented and she'll still be available through the endgame.

Wow okay, that is interesting. So then if I get Leene then I have absolutely nothing to worry about?

That's right, if you get her you won't have to worry about any cut offs.
