What a bummer with characters.

Thought I had all characters, didn't know there was a hard cut off to get Leene. Still don't know name of character to get where it says something like aimlessly wondering, build up your castle. But anyways, i'm past the point of no return to get her, and don't really want to bother finishing the game knowing i won't get 'true ending' whatever that is.

i had to look up stuff a few times, but don't really want to have to follow a guide to do everything to play a game and get an ending. Game was fine overall, but i don't really have the 90 hours or w/e to replay everything again, (it wasn't that enjoyable and i don't have 90 hours of my life to redo something like this).

had all but leene and one other person, after all of that work. :(

will just google play through or something w/ real ending. what a bummer. :(

For what it's worth? The actual ENDING is the same, there's only a minor difference of one different scene and a couple of the 'where are they now?' summaries at the end.

Since I assume you're past it, what basically happens is Leene steps in front of Perrielle and catches the arrow, and then is all "And I'm sticking around". And....that's it. A few other small things but Leene isn't even in the story any more (and the ending scene with her is exactly the same). There's a couple small extra scenes with Perrielle too because she's there.

So I suggest just keep playing and finish it.

(Alternatively if you really want to you can get all the characters you can, do NG+ and blitz through. It'll probably take maybe 10-15 hours at most to get back to the scene if you skip cutscenes and keep encounters off)

do you know the other character aside from Leene I am missing? I can't see name yet, and it looks like in the dark pic they have a sword over their head. The psychic lady just says they wandering around aimlessly , work on your castle and they'll come to you (paraphrasing).

I haven't seen it in any guide i looked up to find them. I assumed it was get all buildings in castle or something like that and they just show up.

and for the slight alterations related to story and good ending. when extra content comes out, i wonder if that will have a big impact on the additional content being as leene isn't there for the speech to be different outcome

The DLC is supposed to be fully separate from the game and meant as backstory/sidestory.

You didnt have a backup save to revert to? I have several for this very reason, well that and years of PC gaming has taught me to always have a backup save or 5. :D

Ventus is correct. It is LEON, go to the West exit of the town and just by the tower on the exit side is a person on the floor.

I feel the same. Did all the mini games to get the characters. Missed the cheap timeframe for Aleior (although we shouldnt have missables) and stopped playing just before the undead castle. Killed the game for me. I dont want to redo all that stuff and know I wasted all the gameplay time.

You have the will to finish Eggfoot Race and Card ASAP but didn't recruit Aleior ASAP when it was available?
