Nowa's Glowing Skin

This is the best moment I've seen to demonstrate how much different Nowa's skin is compared to everyone else's. He's yellow like jaundice.

Hmm... Maybe the idea is for him to more clearly telegraph a Chinese influence in his character design?

Well, maybe it's some odd interaction between his sprite and the lighting? Weird, either way

The yellow lighting of that environment changes the exact tone of everybody's skin, Nowa is just more effected because his skin is slightly more yellow than most of his companions in the first place.

I think based on the "on a real note" part of that post that the "omg racism" part was intended as a joke mocking the silly localisation posts in this forum.

OP screenshot has Nowa standing apart from the group and facing in the opposite direction, so I'd assume his "skin glow" is just a trick of the lighting. A better comparison would be a screenshot where he's part of a group all facing the same way and standing together.
