Hard mode with all options on at lvl 9.
You need to use the Hammer or else no light.
Even with Hammer you need some luck.
7 trys in the last one the annoying magical girl was the lone survivor.
I will not try it again to get some more folks the 900 EP srew that.
Yeah I thought it was obnoxiously bad then also. Hate pure RNG fights :/
He looks in the direction he's moving to before he jumps (I think).
In case anyone wants to test that.
Once I sussed that out, I hit him with the book every turn with ease. But I'm happy to concede I'm extremely lucky if anyone can test it to show otherwise?
Everytime you miss Mellore says "Listen to the whispers of justice." I assumed something in SFX was making a sound. But I got through it on the first try with 5 people. I did get about half the hits.
Maybe I was very lucky or only the Magical Girl is the answer.
For me it was like twice/thrice on the same side before it moves to the other. However sometimes he stays on the same side four times and my gambler's fallacy kicks in.
I just had Francesca spamming it every turn since she's not exactly a high damage dealer in the first place and had nothing to do/no-one to heal most of the fight anyway.
Got more successful hits than not, luckily enough.
Still a pretty rubbish gimmick IMO
